Our quaint guest house is the oldest house in Dawson Borough erected in 1820. Located on the riverfront, in the town of Dawson, PA, 54 miles south of Pittsburgh, PA, just off mile marker “93.5” on the Greater Allegheny Passage bike trail.
We hope your travels that brought you this far have been pleasant and enjoyable. We have tried to make our 200 year old house as comfortable as possible for your stay. There are a few things that we are asking of you before you return to your travels. Please respect our house and take care of it as if it were yourgrandmother's house. Please no smoking in the house.
Amenities include 2 bedrooms, large kitchen, dining room, living room, washer/dryer, A/C, DirecTV, pots, pans, dishes, bed linens, towels.
A few other things to note while you are staying in our little town of Dawson. Please do not leave anything outside unlocked, like cars or bikes. You can bring bikes inside. Not that things are bad here, just to be safe.
Philles night club is down the street along the river. They have very good food, pizza, subs and salads, eat in or take out. There is also another pizza shop in town by the old bank building. There is a small convenience store a few blocks down near Main Street and the rail road crossing.
You may enjoy looking at the old homes around town. There are historical interests in and around town. You can check out the local history book we put together for your enjoyment.
There is a $5 service charge for non-reservation walk-ins per person.
